Give your coat an upgrade
Your good old coat could well have taken a battering over the last few days. Whether you’ve been having fun in the snow or cursing it for disrupting your weekend your coat will have been a constant companion, but that means it could be time to treat yourself. Why not give your coat an upgrade? You may be slipping but that doesn’t mean your style has to, so here are a few outerwear options that can leave you looking hot in the cold…
The parka. The parka is huge this season, and with it being so warm and cosy it’s incredibly practical too. It’s perfect for your weekend look but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear it at other times—it comes in plenty of different styles from the totally casual to something that little bit extra, meaning there’s a parka for every look necessary.
The tweed jacket. Texture is still big news in the fashion world, so why not channel the trend in your jacket? The tweet jacket is the perfect choice and can be worn during the working week just as easily as on those days off, leaving you cool (ok, warm) and stylish no matter what the occasion calls for.
The varsity jacket. You know what we’re talking about—those jackets you see in American high school movies? Yep, they’re here. Great for both sexes and the perfect alternative to other casual options, the varsity jacket will mean you’re right on-trend.
The mac. Stylish, practical and great for when you’re caught in a snow storm, the mac has got you covered.
The coatigan. Is it a coat? Is it a cardigan? Well, it’s both. The coatigan is another new trend that we’ve become aware of recently, combining the practicality of a coat with the style and cosiness of a cardigan, and if you get in on the action now you’ll be ahead of the game for the season ahead.
The duffle. We couldn’t leave out the duffle now, could we? This year the duffle has really come into its own with the fashion masses clamouring for a bit of duffle goodness, and we don’t think you can get better for a bit of winter warmth and style.
